Job Description
LocumJobs Recruit is looking for General Practitioners in Kilcreggan.
Ideal for GPs who want flexibility with a commercial, well-organised booking process, offering opportunities for consistent sessions and minimal friction around onboarding.
Flexible bookings available with up to 2 days a week, with additional sessions available by request.
A flexible GP opportunity designed for repeat bookings.
Role Snapshot
• Sessional GP work with a mix of consultation types depending on rota
• Reliable support from the wider clinical team and agreed escalation routes
• Clear booking details provided up front to protect clinic flow
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver safe GP consultations and manage clinical risk appropriately
• Use evidence-based practice to diagnose and treat presenting conditions
• Prescribe and manage medications including reviews where required
• Action results and correspondence within agreed session parameters
• Refer and signpost patients to appropriate services and pathways
• Maintain accurate records, coding and professional standards
Requirements
• GMC registration and licence to practise
• On the National Performers List
• Recent UK GP experience in primary care
• Confidence working independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Good working knowledge of common primary care pathways and safeguarding
• Availability to complete compliance checks promptly
Working Pattern
• Contract, locum, part-time or temporary options available
• Up to 2 days a week with flexibility on which days you work
• Choice of regular weekly sessions or ad hoc short-notice cover
• Session length and workload expectations confirmed prior to acceptance
