Job Description

Role Snapshot
• Face-to-face and telephone sessions depending on service need and preference
• Balanced appointment flow with appropriate admin time where agreed
• Opportunity for regular weekly bookings or short-term blocks
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality GP consultations and clinical decision making
• Assess, diagnose and manage acute and chronic presentations
• Prescribe safely and in line with local formulary and guidance
• Review results, action tasks and provide appropriate follow-up
• Make referrals and liaise with community and secondary care services
• Maintain accurate documentation and clinical coding standards
Requirements
• GMC registration with a licence to practise
• Completion of GP training with relevant UK experience
• Current performers list status
• Recent experience working in UK primary care settings
• Confident, safe clinician with strong communication and risk management skills
• Up-to-date safeguarding and mandatory training
Working Pattern
• Locum, part-time, temporary or contract options available
• Up to 4 days a week with flexible session selection
• Sessions may be regular and repeatable or arranged as short cover blocks
• Clinic structure and admin expectations confirmed before booking
