Job Description
LocumJobs Recruit is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to deliver primary care clinics within a supportive GP practice in Bournemouth.

Up to 2 days a week available with flexibility around which days you work.
A solid NP booking with repeatable sessions and quick onboarding.
Role Snapshot
• Temporary NP sessions focused on minor illness and urgent presentations
Key Responsibilities
• Assess, diagnose and manage minor illness presentations
• Prescribe and supply medicines in line with competence and policy
• Provide safety-netting advice and appropriate follow-up arrangements
• Request investigations and interpret results within scope of practice
• Maintain accurate notes, coding and timely documentation
• Liaise with the clinical team to support smooth patient flow
Requirements
• NMC registration with Nurse Practitioner experience in primary care
• Independent prescribing qualification preferred where applicable to role
• Confidence managing undifferentiated presentations safely
• Understanding of safeguarding and infection prevention processes
• Enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK
Working Pattern
• Temporary sessions available up to 2 days per week
• Flexible approach to session frequency and scheduling
• Option for ongoing work subject to service need and availability
