Job Description
LocumJobs Recruit is looking for Advanced Nurse Practitioners in Moffat.

Flexible bookings available with up to 2 days a week, with the ability to increase during busy periods.
High-impact urgent care style clinics in a primary care setting.
Role Snapshot
• Same-day demand ANP clinics with a focus on minor illness and acute presentations
• Supported environment with clear escalation to GP leads where required
Key Responsibilities
• Run independent ANP clinics and deliver safe, patient-centred care
• Triage and manage urgent presentations within agreed pathways
• Prescribe and deprescribe appropriately within scope and guidelines
• Coordinate follow-up, safety netting and onward referrals
• Contribute to clinical records, coding and continuity of care
• Support practice teams with clinical advice within scope when needed
Requirements
• NMC registration with an active PIN
• Advanced practice qualification and evidence of recent clinical practice
• Independent Prescriber qualification is required
• Experience using UK primary care clinical systems and workflows
• Confidence managing undifferentiated presentations and urgent care decision making
• Evidence of CPD and up-to-date mandatory training including safeguarding
Working Pattern
• Temporary, locum, part-time or contract engagements available
• Up to 2 days a week with flexible session selection
• Mix of regular weekly sessions and ad hoc cover depending on preference
• Lead times can be short for candidates with compliant documents ready
