Job Description

LocumJobs Recruit is looking for a Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner to work with a progressive GP practice in Kings Lynn.

This is a high-value booking for ACPs who want consistent demand, clear scope and an organised practice environment. You will deliver advanced assessment and management while benefiting from efficient systems and strong team support.

Up to 2 days a week available with flexibility for ad hoc or regular sessions.

Well-suited to ACPs looking for repeat cover alongside other work.

Role Snapshot
• Locum ACP clinics supporting same-day access and urgent care flow

• Opportunity for ongoing sessions depending on availability

Key Responsibilities
• Assess and manage acute presentations, providing safe clinical decision-making
• Develop and implement treatment plans and appropriate follow-up
• Prescribe and undertake medication reviews within competence
• Order and interpret investigations, acting on results appropriately
• Complete referrals and documentation in line with service standards
• Contribute to clinical team communication and safe handover processes

Requirements
• ACP qualification with experience in UK primary care or urgent primary care services
• Prescribing qualification where required for the clinic scope
• Confidence in managing undifferentiated illness and risk assessment
• Sound knowledge of safeguarding and infection control
• DBS and full compliance documentation

Working Pattern
• Locum sessions available up to 2 days per week
• Flexible scheduling with options for short blocks or ongoing weeks
• Session mix agreed to suit your preferences where possible
