Job Description
LocumJobs Recruit is looking for Advanced Clinical Practitioners in Southam.
Designed for ACPs seeking flexible sessional work with a clear framework, quick onboarding and opportunities to build a regular pattern across primary care services.
Flexible bookings available with up to 3 days a week, with the option to keep it steady or scale up.
A flexible ACP role suited to regular weekly bookings.
Role Snapshot
• Autonomous clinics with a mix of acute presentations and follow-up reviews
• Strong governance and clear escalation to senior clinicians
• Efficient admin and handover practices to protect clinical time
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver advanced clinical assessments and management plans
• Provide treatment, prescribing and referrals within agreed scope
• Request, interpret and act on investigations and results
• Support service demand through safe triage and prioritisation
• Communicate clearly with patients and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality and safety standards
Requirements
• Relevant UK professional registration
• Demonstrable ACP competence and recent clinical practice in primary care
• Independent Prescriber qualification is preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning and confidence with undifferentiated presentations
• Knowledge of safeguarding, infection prevention and information governance
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different service models
Working Pattern
• Contract, locum, part-time or temporary options available
• Up to 3 days a week with flexible choice of sessions
• Regular repeat sessions available, plus ad hoc cover if desired
• Start dates can be rapid for fully compliant candidates
