Job Description
LocumJobs Recruit is looking for Practice Nurses in Kingswells.

Role Snapshot
• Practice Nurse sessions focused on treatment room, immunisations and preventative care
• Opportunity to support chronic disease clinics depending on experience
• Well-organised handovers and clear processes to keep clinics running smoothly
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out treatment room procedures including dressings, ear care and injections
• Support immunisation schedules and travel vaccines where applicable
• Deliver health checks and lifestyle advice within practice protocols
• Assist with chronic disease monitoring and recalls where required
• Ensure accurate record keeping, coding and safe clinical communication
• Work collaboratively with the nursing and wider practice team
Requirements
• Active NMC registration
• Experience working as a Practice Nurse in UK primary care
• Confident in treatment room procedures and vaccine administration
• Cervical screening competency is desirable but not essential
• Up-to-date mandatory training including safeguarding
• Professional, reliable approach with good communication skills
Working Pattern
• Part-time, locum, temporary or contract options available
• Up to 2 days a week with flexible days and session selection
• Choice of regular weekly sessions or ad hoc cover
• Sessions can be planned in advance to fit around other commitments
